This listing is for one (1) Black Anodized Aluminum overflow catch can with 6 feet of ORANGE fuel hose. The main use of this tank is in go kart racing, but can be used in other application requiring overflow protection such as racing motorcycles, bar stool racers, Drift Trikes, clones, ect.
The aluminum tank measures approximately 1 1/2" diameter and 4" long. It is tapped on both ends for 1/8" NPT (pipe thread). There is also a third 1/8 NPT tapped hole near one end of the tank. This item is also grooved in two places on the outside diameter for use of hose clamps to secure it in place. It is typically mounted on a seat strut or possibly a nerf bar.
Included with this tank are two hose clamps, one petcock, one 90 degree barb fitting and one straight barb fitting. The position of these fittings shown in the photo are for display only. Fittings will be shipped loose with the tank so the user can install the fittings as desired. The barbs included accept a 1/4" hose.
The hose supplied is 1/4" ID and ORANGE in color. This translucent hose is acceptable for use with most race fuels. This 1/4" ID line is supplied in a continuous 6ft length. Installer can cut hose to fit application as needed.
This product is designed for use in racing only. Racing is a dangerous sport and the fuels involved are highly volatile. Seller is free of responsibility for buyer, user, or installer negligence. Any warranty claims will need to be addressed directly with the manufacturer. Hoses and filters should be checked frequently for cracks, cuts, abrasions, and other signs of damage. Replace hose and filter at any signs of damage or deterioration.
It is suggested the user or installer test a small piece of hose with their fuel to ensure safe operation of their equipment. Seller is free of responsibility for misuse or user/installer negligence.
Color and design of actual fittings and hose clamps may vary depending on stock levels. Fittings may be plastic or metal consider this if temperature is an issue. Tank will be BLACK only and may have minor surface scratches from handling in transit. Consider another product if show quality finish is required.
