These plans where purchased from Custom Rod Magazine in 1959 for .95. Plans were sold
by the Go Kart Manufacturing Co., out of Azusa California.
These karts were easy to build requiring mostly hand tools and a gas or electric welder.
In 1959 most karts were sold as a kit, starting at 9, complete with spot brake and a 2.5 HP 2-cycle engine, but f
or a short time Go Kart Mfg. Co., sold plans for "do it yourself" customers.
